Well, we have been up to all kinds of fun!  We got an idea (from Nasia) to draw our good times...

First off one of our funs was the annual Fredericksburg Christmas Parade.  It was very crowded, as usual!  It was really hard to find a place to watch...They didn't throw ANY candy!  >:-|

    parade 06

Then a few days later, we went to an Alert Choir concert in Vienna Virginia.  We got there and the Danaher's showed up!  We had a great time hangin' out with them afterwards.  The Alert guys were on their way to the White House to sing...way to go boys

    alert choir

And then, our latest fun (although, our lives are filled with it EVERYDAY) was the open house at the Danahers last night.  We got there later then earlier, and stayed earlier then later.

    danaher party

We'll be sure to post again soon..especially considering the fact that there is always somethin' fun happening. ;)   Stop by for a party whenever you're around town.

OK, now here comes the serious part!!  If you looked at this post, then you HAVE to comment.  If you're not a Xanga member, take a few seconds and become one!  If you don't know us, comment and tell us who in the world you are, and how in the world you found us :)   Besides, today, tomorrow, and whatever day you're looking at this, has been issued as National Comment Day For All Xangans.

    See ya later!

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Also,

We think we live in FLORIDA!

    BdayBkfst6

We've been driving around doing errands and looking at Christmas decorations with our TOP DOWN, and the thermometer sayin' it's about 77.  The weird thing though, is that Virginians act like this is weird when it's not!  It's weird that it's December and warm, but it doesn't seem to be too out of the ordinary for Virginia.  Think about it people, it happens every year...

Personally, we (haha) think that it's TOO warm!  It should be colder...and Lindsey, you're not supposed to go Christmas shopping in warm weather!

And now...to top off our post of important and non important...according to this little thing we did.. (howmanyofme.com)

There are 70 Katherine Hintons in the U.S.

    25 Kristen Hinton

    and115 Laura Hintons

Jenna & Lindsey, you girls don't exist because there are 0 Jenna & Lindsey Quanns.  HOWEVER, there is 1 Aaron Quann :)

Katie: Wednesday night, peeling apples for pie!

Laura:  Those peels were actually quite a problem!  They clogged the disposal/sink up and you know how dishes are when it comes to Thanksgiving!  We couldn't do dishes for a while...what a mess!

    CIMG5291

Katie: That is me making green bean casserole.  :)   I'm happy about that!!  haha...  *yum*

Laura:  All the traditional dishes were served...well, we did miss the pistachio pudding but oh well.

    CIMG5295

    *smile*

    CIMG5299

Katie:  Way to go Laura!!  It sure was yummy!

Laura:  OK, so sweet potato casserole is so good that when you don't feel like you can legally swap a piece of pie, you go for this stuff!

Katie:  This is what we did the next day...Ate more pie, sat, looked at the computer.  And sat.

Laura: Yep!  That's Friday activities for ya!  Actually, we usually like to exercise the next morning so we played football in the street.  The Putney's were still around.  OHH, and I can't forget to mention that the boys worked on the sink that morning with Mr. Putney and got it back in working order.  So even though it was a lazy day, we did a tad bit.

Katie:  Jarod put the star on this year.  :)   We put the tree up together last night (Friday).  I love doing that.  *sigh*  Christmas music, holding big balls of lights in my hands, and putting on ornaments with my name on them.

Laura:  Yeah, we thought we'd make Jarod help us in this, his last year!!  ;o)  When Dad got home we all watched Holiday Inn together...good old movie.

  • SO!  I just got back last night from Salt Lake City Utah!  It was beautiful!  I was there for the 4th annual Xango Convention.  It was GREAT!!!  More of a company party then a company convention :)

    CIMG5136

First we went to register.  Here's the Salt Palace all decked out!  They really did a cool job of covering the place with Xango garb.

    CIMG5132

    CIMG5143

After getting something to eat we headed to the brand NEW Xango buildings to take a tour.  They gave us chocolate (and water) at the end of it and the chocolate bar was shaped like the building :)

    CIMG5156

After that we walked around a cool shopping place, got something to eat, and then went to see the Great Salt Lake.

    CIMG5158

I loved all the snowy mountains!

This is the Xango store that they had set up in the Salt Palace!  It was huge and awesome :)   The car in that video was one of the grand prizes.  They had some really interesting stuff in there......one thing was "the red carpet" for us distributors to feel cool. haha!

"Who are you wearing?" ...Actually, I think that I was only wearing one thing from Goodwill

    CIMG5176

The welcome reception.  I don't think I've ever seen ice sculptures in real life before.  Since there was one on every food table, I touched one of 'em. :) hehe.  There were plenty of food tables...maybe a little more then 9 thousand distributors, so they needed a lot of food!

    CIMG5191

This is a picture of one of the Xango founders and captain of the soccer team from Salt Lake.  For the first time in history, a professional sports team has allowed a company to sponsor accross the front of jerseys.  Xango is the first company EVER to do it!  I hope to go to a game when the come to DC sometime :)   Wanna come with?

    CIMG5194

The next night was a party with superheros & villains!  Haha, I'm not really dressed up as anything.  It was lots of fun.

    CIMG5199

"table set for heaven" They had superhero food - which was soup, veggies, granola bars... and then there was the villains food - candy, chips, & cookies!

    CIMG5226

The pack of people comin' outa the meeting

    CIMG5235

    Out to dinner.  Good times.

    CIMG5248

I got AC Green's autograph and picture on Sunday!  He was a speaker.  Yeah that's right..AC Green is in Xango 'cause he's a smart business man.  OH and notice that he's sitting down and I'm standing up...he's 7 feet tall.

So anyway, it was an awesome trip...inspiring and even emotional :)  The more I learn about this company, the more I fall in love with it!  It's changing people's lives and making their dreams come true.  I know that the Lord brought Xango into our lives at just the right time so that Dad could be planning his future and not his funeral.  Bless the Lord!

Come with me next year :) , we'll have a blast.

  • Pictures say a thousand words :o)

I don't really have too much time to write but here are some pictures to show
you just some of what's been goin' on at HQ.
For Mr. Gothard's birthday party it was themed "international"
so everyone had to dress up like they were from some other Country.
Well....with help from a few friends I came looking like this...

    Krissy the Chinese lady
    A Chinese women :o Þ
I borrowed a big black wig from someone here and wore a chinese like shirt.
    I had fun but I think it'll only be a one time thing :o )  I hope ;o)
It was interesting seeing me with black hair though.  Haha

    Krissy and Abbey
    Me and a fellow Countrymen/women ;o)
I don't know why in the world I'm posting these on the web :o Þ

The next event I have pictures of (I don't have a digital camera so
Jamee sends me some of the ones she takes.  THANKS JAMEE!)
is going to downtown Chicago with a few friends from here!
    At the Bean
Here's us in the reflection of "the bean".
The bean is a huge silver bean lookin' thing (go figure :o ) )
that you can see the reflection of the Chicago ski line in.  You can also go under it
and see your reflection in a lot of different weird ways :o )  It looks really cool.
There's Erika, Bri, Jamee (taking the picture), and then me.

    Krissy and her boot
While we were downtown we did some shopping and
found some of the weirdest shoes!!

    Erika and Jamee
Here's Jamee (on the left) and Erika on the train headin' back.

    Bri and Krissy
And here's Brianna (Bri) and I

I had a lot of fun and I'm so glad I got to go!

Well, those are all the new pictures that I have.
I'll post some of the ones that I took on my film camera when
I get home in December and can scan them.
Time is going REALLY fast here!  I'm glad it is though because
Matt's coming for Thanksgiving (it's only in one week!) and I can't wait for him to get here
and then after that I get to play my Christmas music!
Then it'll be the Christmas conference and after that HOME SWEET HOME!
I'll be back home in a month!  These first 2 weeks of November have
gone by SO quickly that I know I'll be back in Virginia before I know it!
Well, I gotta go.  Thanks you so much for praying for me while I'm here! Keep 'em comin' ;o)
