SO! I just got back last night from Salt Lake City Utah! It was beautiful! I was there for the 4th annual Xango Convention. It was GREAT!!! More of a company party then a company convention
First we went to register. Here's the Salt Palace all decked out! They really did a cool job of covering the place with Xango garb.
After getting something to eat we headed to the brand NEW Xango buildings to take a tour. They gave us chocolate (and water) at the end of it and the chocolate bar was shaped like the building
After that we walked around a cool shopping place, got something to eat, and then went to see the Great Salt Lake.
I loved all the snowy mountains!
This is the Xango store that they had set up in the Salt Palace! It was huge and awesome
The car in that video was one of the grand prizes. They had some really interesting stuff in there......one thing was "the red carpet" for us distributors to feel cool. haha!"Who are you wearing?" ...Actually, I think that I was only wearing one thing from Goodwill
The welcome reception. I don't think I've ever seen ice sculptures in real life before. Since there was one on every food table, I touched one of 'em. :) hehe. There were plenty of food tables...maybe a little more then 9 thousand distributors, so they needed a lot of food!
This is a picture of one of the Xango founders and captain of the soccer team from Salt Lake. For the first time in history, a professional sports team has allowed a company to sponsor accross the front of jerseys. Xango is the first company EVER to do it! I hope to go to a game when the come to DC sometime
Wanna come with? The next night was a party with superheros & villains! Haha, I'm not really dressed up as anything. It was lots of fun.
"table set for heaven" They had superhero food - which was soup, veggies, granola bars... and then there was the villains food - candy, chips, & cookies!
The pack of people comin' outa the meeting
Out to dinner. Good times.
I got AC Green's autograph and picture on Sunday! He was a speaker. Yeah that's right..AC Green is in Xango 'cause he's a smart business man. OH and notice that he's sitting down and I'm standing up...he's 7 feet tall.
So anyway, it was an awesome trip...inspiring and even emotional :) The more I learn about this company, the more I fall in love with it! It's changing people's lives and making their dreams come true. I know that the Lord brought Xango into our lives at just the right time so that Dad could be planning his future and not his funeral. Bless the Lord!
Come with me next year
, we'll have a blast.- Laura
