  What can you ever post about in March?  Nothing happens in March....but did you know that--

   

   

  -Plastic lawn flamingos outnumber real flamingos in the U.S.A.

   

  -Goldfish swallowing started at Harvard in 1939.

   

  -It is impossible to lick your elbow.

   

  -Naturalists use marshmallows to lure alligators out of swamps.

   

  -The main library at Indiana University sinks over an inch every year because when it was built, engineers failed to take into account the weight of all the books that would occupy the building.

   

  -In ancient Rome it was considered a sign of leadership to be born with a crooked nose.

   

  -It's against the law in Chicago to eat in a place that is on fire.

   

  -Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes.

   

  -In Michigan, it is illegal to chain an alligator to a fire hydrant.

   

  -The sound of E.T. walking was made by someone squishing her hands in jelly.

   

  -Laura is still gone.

   

   

  We can't upload any pictures...our computer is "glitching".  *grrr*

   

  Anyway, we're entertaining tonight so we must go and accomplish our duties.  Make chicken at 5, veggie casserole and baked mac&cheese at 5:30, and tidy up the house.
